| Ol' No. 844 Tours the South Engine No. 844 made its way through Texas in May 2006 on its 35-day, 10-state South Central States Heritage Express Tour. No. 844 was delivered in 1944, the last steam engine built for Union Pacific Railroad. It has 14 wheels and weights 454 tons, engine and tender.
