The world's most popular sport, which is not appreciated much in the United States, played to a large crowd in San Antonio's Alamodome on Nov. 10, 2004.Many of San Antonio's residents are Mexican immigrants, and many turned out to watch their native country's national team take the field against Guatemala.
The teams battled on the field, and fans proudly displayed their national colors and urged their teams to victory. In the end, Mexico won, and for many fans, it was almost like being back home again.
