San Antonio area's best prep stars

Tony Crocker of Warren High School is the prep basketball player of the year, according to the San Antonio Express-News.


Nathan Schreiber is the boys diver of the year for 2005.	Jenny Franzone, girls San Antonio area diver of 2005.

I rarely have an oppurtunity to make photographs in a studio, but I enjoy doing it. I was given this assignment by my director of photography at the San Antonio Express-News, Doug Sehres. I came up with a concept, using pinatas as props. That concept was not accepted, so I then tried the backup concept, a much simpler idea using only dark background, one umbrella light and a second, much smaller, yellow-gel rim strobe.
